There can be a large number of people present in the restaurants, bars and coffee shops which together with the high equipment heat gains may create some discomfort due to high air temperature and odour level. Using the traditional DX refrigerant cooling & ventilation system with 80-90% air recirculation is ineffective as it cannot remove the high level of odours. Decreasing the air recirculation ratio by introducing more fresh air helps to alleviate the issue but is not cost effective.
The Evaporative Cooling system provides room with 100% fresh, clean and cool air. It is up to 90% cheaper to run and simple in installation. A possibility to leave the entrance door open without the detrimental effect on cooling efficiency create an additional incentive for the customers to have a look inside.
