The process of printing generates large amount of heat from equipment together with low air humidity. High temperatures and low humidity conditions create discomfort for the personnel and problems with print quality.

Low air humidity causes:

  • problems with matching colours
  • folding edges in paper reams
  • rolling of multi-layer products
  • electrostatic discharges
  • lower print efficiency (extended printing time)

Evaporative Cooling is cheap and efficient method of maintaining the Printing Houses internal conditions by providing the cooling and fresh air ventilation as well as stabilizing the room humidity level. It makes the positive impact on printing efficiency (increasing its speed) and reducing the amount of wastepaper.

Approximately 30kW of cooling can be obtained from just 1kW of electrical power
